SBJI also offers a specialised Spine Fellowship programme that spans a duration of six months, with the potential for extensions on an individual basis. During this fellowship, participants undergo rotations in both outpatient and inpatient departments, providing a well-rounded exposure to spine-related cases and procedures.
To be eligible for this fellowship, applicants should hold an MS/DNB in Orthopaedics, possess a minimum of one year of post-PG experience and demonstrate a keen interest in developing spine surgery as a full-time specialty. Additionally, candidates are required to have permanent registration with the Medical Council of India, emphasise a strong background in publications and presentations and exhibit a strong command of the English language. Knowledge of Telugu is preferred, although not mandatory.
