Sunshine Bone & Joint Institute has been officially recognised by Stryker, a global leader in robotic orthopaedic technology, as India’s first “Centre of Excellence (CoE)” for Robotic Joint Replacement Surgery.

This prestigious designation places Sunshine Bone & Joint Institute at the forefront of robotic-assisted orthopaedic surgery, clinical research and advanced surgeon training in India. It also marks a decade of collaboration and innovation between Sunshine Bone and Joint Institute and Stryker, reaffirming a shared commitment to precision-driven, patient-first care.

Dr. A.V. Gurava Reddy conveyed how the institute has already performed over 10,000 robotic-assisted knee and hip replacement surgeries, consistently setting benchmarks in both surgical outcomes and accessibility.

The Centre of Excellence status was awarded based on Sunshine Bone and Joint Institute’s excellence in clinical results, research publications, global collaborations and its key role in training surgeons across the country in robotic joint replacement techniques.
